The Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum has inaugurated chairperson and members of the newly established Career Guidance, Counselling Board and that of Rural Electrification Board.
Governor Zulum explained that the establishment of the new board was to ensure all employment quota accrued to Borno were appropriately filled by competent indigenes and to also guide applicants in the process of job application.
Zulum also presided over the swearing in of a new Special Adviser and a permanent secretary to state civil service.
Alhaji Bakari Ali Kotoko a former Chairman of Maiduguri Metropolitan was sworn in as a Special Adviser, while Engr. Ali Goni Lawan was sworn in as a permanent secretary.
Oath of Office was administered by the representative of the state chief Judge, Justice Aisha Ndume, while the Governor preside over.
While making an inaugural address, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum announced the appointment of Engr. Jacob Tari as the new Managing Director of the state Rural Electrification Board.
