
Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has condoled the families of twenty eight people brutally massacred by Boko Haram insurgents while on a fishing activities at Mukdolo stream situated at the outskirts of Dikwa town.
The Governor offered the condolence to the bereaved at the Shehu of Dikwa’s palace during his brief visit to the area.
Condoling the deceased families who assembled at the Shehu’s palace, Governor Zulum urged them to take solace in Allah and accept the incident as an act of Almighty God.
Prof Babagana Umara Zulum charged the people of the area to desist from trekking long distance in search of basic amenities as according to him some insurgents are still hibernating in some remote villages and rake havoc on innocent people.
He reiterated his calls on the people to continue to pray for the restoration of lasting peace to the state.
