
Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state, said the government had approved 70 slots for Christians going on pilgrimage to Israel in 2021.
Yahaya, who confirmed this to a delegation of the Christian community in the state, who paid him a New Year visit, stated that the challenges that his administration met on ground caused Christians not to travel to Israel for the 2019 pilgrimage.

Earlier, CAN caretaker Chairman, Gombe State chapter, Rev. Sunday Congo, said his members came to pray with the governor on the occasion of the New Year and to also commend the laudable achievements of the state government.
