As Fuel Scarcity bites harder in Maiduguri, Kano, Sokoto and other states with a litre going between N310 and N320, the Department of State Service (DSS) , has summoned Independent Petroleum Marketers of Nigeria (IPMAN) , Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission and other Stakeholders, directing them to quickly resolved the problems.
The meeting, according a Senior DSS Official who does not want his name mentioned, was held, on Monday evening and lasted several hours between the Security agents, the Petroleum Marketers and other Stakeholders.
He said, the Marketers at the marathon meetings, led the DSS into the problems they are facing and how to get the commodity from other part of Nigeria to another.
Our correspondent report that, the Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR has already set up a three man team of monitoring supplies , which would commence operations on Tuesday to ensure full uninterrupted supply of the commodity to Kano People.
The DPR, was said to assured the DSS of ensuring full compliance of uninterrupted supply of fuel that would in the next few days free all states affected from the long queue of Motorists at filling Stations.
