The Borno state Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum has said that food insecurity is worse than insurgency.
He said, if we want to end this insurgency, we must create more access to farmlands so that our people will go to farm.
Governor Zulum also said the only way to address Boko Haram insurgency is to address the roots cause of the insurgency through social and economic empowerment by creating sccess to more farmlands, stressing that farming is critical to ending the decade long insurgency.
Governor Babagana Zulum stated this when the new theater Commander Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Christopher Musa paid him a courtesy call at the Government House, Maiduguri.
