The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has released former Senate President Bukola Saraki after spending grilling him for hours.
A statement released by media aide to the former Senate President, Yusuph Olaniyonu said Bukola has left the commissions premises on Saturday night and he is back home in Abuja.
Dandal Kura Radio International gathered that Bukola Saraki left the premises of the anti-graft agency at about 9.15pm.
According to the statement Saraki said there was no big deal in honouring an invitation by an institution of the state.
The statement reads that Saraki said that they asked to see him when he was at the wedding reception of the daughter of Senator Shaba Lafiagi on Saturday afternoon where he drove there himself, and was asked to leave after a while.
