Disband Distribution of Palliatives Committee Headed by Sadiya with Immediate Effect_Ndume Told FG

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume representing Borno South Senatorial District has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately disband the distribution of palliatives committee headed by the Minster of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouk.
Ndume who is also the Senate Committee Chairman on Army alleged that activities of the Sadiya led- committee is fraudulent and should be investigated
Ndume said President Buhari’s good will to get palliatives to poor Nigerians during COVID-19 pandemic and beyond may be battered by the many corrupt officialsthat surrounds the president.
Briefing journalists in Maiduguri, Sen. Ndume said the Minister of Humanitarian affairs has failed to carry out her job in a transparent and equitable manner, describing the manner and ways of distributing palliatives to Nigerians as fraudulent.
Ndume who picked holes in the modus operandi utilized in distributing palliative to households and individuals wondered why Zamfara state where the minister hails from would have huge number of beneficiaries as against states like Sokoto, Borno, Yobe amongst others.
However the Minister Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Hajia Sadiya Umar Farouk has distanced herself from the allegations.
