Chief of Army Staff Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru was in Damaturu, on Sunday the 14 March 2021, where he inspected the guard of honor at the sector 2 Headquarters of operation lafiya dole.
During the visit, General Attahiru addressed the troops stated that the aim of his visit to the Northeast part of the country was operational.
Adding that, the visit is intended to familiarize themselves with how the officers are going about ending the war against the insurgency throughout the theatre in the whole region.
Attahiru said that President Muhammadu Buhari is aware and has full knowledge of the effort that they are putting in.
He said, being the Chief of Army Staff, he also knew the challenges they aced; therefore, he is making a frantic effort to overcome it so as to have and ensure them the highest level of morale to be able to accomplish the task before them.
