A Borno state High Court Judge sitting in Maiduguri Northeast Nigeria has suggested the death sentence for sexual deviants and those committing the offence of rape.
Mr. Justice Wakil Alkali Gana made the call while delivering judgement in a case of homosexuality committed by one Umar Usman of Sabon Lamba, Lamisula Maiduguri.
The judge sentenced the convict to fourtheen years imprisonment without option of fine and frowned at the increasing rate of homosexuality and rape in the society.
Justice Wakil Alkali Gana said such people are misfits in society and ought not to be in this world pointing out such dastardly act. He called on the people to expose those indulging in this unholy behavior no matter their position for prosecution that both Islam and Christianity do not accept
