Borno State Government Visits IDP’s At Diffa In Niger Republic

Borno state government has provided 10,000 bags of assorted grains to cushion the hardships of Borno indigens taking refuge in diffa province of Niger republic.

The governor said this while addressing IDPS from abadam, mobbar, and guzamala taking refuge in Niger republic.

Prof Zulum, said efforts are in top gear to ensure that very soon, all the fleeing IDPS are returned to their respective local governments.

The governor, who was received by the Governor of diffa, Alh mohamed modu thanked the Nigerian government for making life very comfortable to all the idps taking refuge in diffa.

He said the government of the two countries will soon look at possibilities of providing accessible road from damasak to diffa for free trade and movement of people.

Prof Babagana umara Zululm also announced a donation of 10million naira to the IDPS in diffa saying that 5m naira is from the government while 3million naira is from sen. Habu kyari and 2million from Hon. Bukar Gana ,member representing the area in the National Assembly.
