
The Borno State Government has released N50 million for Scholarship to 2,019 students of Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri.
Mr Bala Isa, the executive secretary of the Borno State Scholarship Board, disclosed this on Monday in Maiduguri while briefing Newsmen.
Isa urged the students to honour the government’s generosity by taking their studies more seriously in order to make the payment effective immediately.
During his remarks, Mr Abubakar Wajiro, the President of the National Union of Borno State Students (NUBOSS), praised the government for the continuous intervention and urged the students to make use of the chance to study as much as possible.
He added by thanking Gov. Babagana Zulum for his administration’s commitment to education as well as the management of the State Scholarship Board for ensuring that no qualified student is left out.
He expressed delight for the scholarship. Promising that Borno Students will not disappoint the government and people of Borno.
