The Borno state Government, House of Assembly and the High Commissioner of Chad have donated over N15 million to families of fallen heroes.
According to the Government, the fallen heroes participated in World Wars I and II, peace keeping missions and Boko Haram insurgency that claimed many lives and property.
Governor Babagana Zulum disclosed this in Maiduguri to mark the Armed Forces Remembrance Day at Ramat Square, Maiduguri.
Zulum, who was represented by his Deputy, Umar Kadafur said the donations of commissioners, legislators, civil servants, the Theatre Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole and the General Officer Commanding 7 Division.
