
The Borno State Ministry of Education through the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) conducted the second phase of the competency test for four hundred and fifteen (415) Senior Officers and Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) leadership across the State who were unable to sit for the first test because they were involved in Mobilization of the teachers.
Speaking at the venue of the test Honourable Commissioner of Education Engr. Lawan Abba Wakilbe welcomed and urged them to come up with a strategy that will checkmate Absenteeism and reckless attitudes by the teachers.
On their part the Borno State Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Comrade Inuwa Yusuf and the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) urged the participants to reciprocate Governments’ gesture by being fully committed to work.
