The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Borno State, Alhaji Mohammed Ali Jajari has denied the rumour making the round in the state, that he has step down for the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Babagana Zulum.

Alhaji Jajari, who disclosed this while addressing journalists at a press conference in Maiduguri on Monday, described the report as false and baseless.

He noted that the presidential and National Assembly elections were marred with irregularities, BVAS malfunctioning, technical hitches, vote buying and manipulation amongst others.

He said: ”Even in the last presidential election, the PDP won the election but they manipulated and rigged that election at various Polling Units.

Our leaders at the national and state levels including the presidential candidate are now pursuing the matter to ensure your choice and mandate is not stolen.
