The Borno state Commissioner of Information, Home affairs and Culture Mujahid Babakura Abba Jato seeks Partnership with the media to Promote reintegration of Repentant Insurgents back to the society as over 70,000 persons repented and denounced the ideology with maximum regrets.
The commissioner made the call while receiving Members of Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria BON Zone B Comprising of 25 Televisions and Radio stations in the northeast sub region led by its Chairman Alh Adamu Isa Abadam who is also the General Manager of Borno Radio and Television Corporation BRTV, Paid him a courtesy Visit to his office at Musa Usman Secretariat, Maiduguri, Borno State.
The Commissioner of Information, Home Affairs and Culture was represented by The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Garba Musa Gambo.
Abba Jato Urged the media to Promote contains that will enable the general public understand the Plight, regret and remorse of the Repentants.
He further enjoins the general Public to imbibe the spirit of Forgiveness in order to make the reintegration process a success.
