Borno APC Denied Burning PDP Office In Banki

The All progressives Congress in the state has denied the rumours currently being circulated by some mischief makers, that the ruling party was involved in the burning of PDP office in Banki town during Senatorial campaign rally in the area.

APC in a swift reaction condemned in strong terms the false accusation against the law abiding members of the party, pointing out that the PDP has no any structure in Banki let alone party office.

Putting the record straight as a resident of the area and a stakeholder, Babagana Yusuf Banki disclosed to news men that, some PDP thugs on the eve of the APC rally erected a temporary shed made up of thatch roof just to show the little presence of the opposition party with the intention to inciting trouble and gain cheep popularity.

Babagana Yusuf Banki added that it was the PDP thugs that upon Sighting the APC campaign procession, started abusive words to the extent of throwing stones which led to the damaging of windscreen of some vehicles belonging to APC members.

In retaliation, the APC members chased them away, adding that it is the cigarettes left over used by the PDP thugs that ignited the fire that eventually resulted to the destruction of the shed.

The statement also categorically stressed that not a single civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF)was involved as alleged by the PDP as none of them was seen in the purported video now in circulation.

APC urged the members of the public to disregard all mischief Makers without concrete evidence to back up their allegations.
