The Jamā’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihād (Boko Haram) terrorists fled as the Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP), stormed their stronghold in Gaizuwa, Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

It was gathered that the terrified Boko Haram elements fled their camp on Sunday when Ba’ana Chingori led dozens of ISWAP terrorists in four Hilux trucks mounted with Anti Aircraft Guns and motorcycles, to attack them in Abu Ikilima’s camp.

Just over a week ago, on December 3, irate Boko Haram fighters eliminated 33 wives of ISWAP to revenge  the killing of its Commander, Malam Aboubakar (Munzir) and 15 other fighters who were neutrialized in a deadly infighting by ISWAP.

The deadly attack which was spearheaded by Ali Ngulde, a 25 year old notorious JAS Commander and five Khaids comprising of Muke from Mandara Mountain, Ali Ghana, from Ngauri, Abbah Tukur from Mantari, Maimusari, Abu Isa, and one other (name unknown), has led to killing of scores of ISWAP.

The strength of the fighting militants deployed in the battle were about 320 fighters, 250 of  them with Ak 47 riffles, a minimum of 8 vehicles and 50 motorcycles.

Zagazoka Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad, who closely monitored the battles reports that the Boko Haram elements took to their heels when they discovered the strength of the ISWAP, leaving behind women and children in their camps.

Addressing the women, Chingori warned his fighters not to touch any women or children, an action that surprised observers who predicted a revenge of the killing of ISWAP wives by Boko Haram.
