Bauchi state has recorded its third case of coronavirus, the State deputy governor Senator Baba Tela has said at a press conference in Bauchi the state capital.
The deputy governor who spoke to newsmen while unveiling a 150 bed capacity isolation centre in Bayera said the third case is a 55 year old and have since been isolated and taken care of .
Baba Tela said the state government will continue to partner with Nigeria Center for Disease Control to conduct more test. Adding that the third case is recorded out 99 samples tested since the out break of the virus.
Dandal Kura Radio International recalls that the State government had earlier imposes total lock down for a period of 14 days as part of measures to halt the spread of coronavirus, a press statement by Secretary to the state government Mohammed Sabiu Baba has said.
