Adamawa State Police Command Arrests 2 Cattle Rustlers, Recovers 83 Cows

The Adamawa State Police command has arrested two cattle rustlers and recovered 83 cows from them on their way with the Cows to Cameroon Republic.

Those arrested are Njidda Ardo 32 years, a resident of Rumirgo Village, Askira Uba, LGA, Borno State and Julde Ali 30 years a resident of Rumirgo Village, Askira Uba LGA, Borno state.

A statement by the Command’a spokesman DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said discreet investigation into the matter has commenced and assured that the suspects will be prosecuted accordingly.

The statement read “On the 2/6/2021 the Command’s operatives attached to Gombi Division, following information from a reliable source that some people were.

The Command immediately deployed its operatives attached to Gombi Division and some Hunters to the area.

The Commissioner of Police Aliyu Adamu Alhaji, commended the Divisional police officer Gombi and his men for making it difficult for such criminals escape arrest.

Alhaji also calls on members of the public to continue giving credible information regarding any person of suspicious character around their neighborhood to police.
