Adamawa Christians Celebrates Christmas In Line With COVID-19 Protocols

Christians in Adamawa state have celebrated Christmas in line with COVID-19 protocols by wearing face masks, social distance and washing hands under running water in their various churches.

The Christians dressed in their beautiful attires attend Christmas church service in their various churches, some worshipers were asked to stay outside the churches during the services, while others sat under trees in some churches.

There was also heavy presence of security personnel at strategic locations to ensure security of worshippers during and after the Christmas church service.

In their sermons, clerics harp on the need for Christians use the period as a sober reflection and embrace peace, love and tolerate one another.

In a Sermon, the Secretary of Bishop of Bonopem Diocese Jada Pastor Eli Barnabas charged Christians to be peaceful, truthful, humility as well as shun corruption in all their dealings.
