2 Suicide Bombers Detonate IEDs in a Mosque at Bama

Many casualties are said to be recorded as two suicide bombers aged between 13 and 14 invaded a mosque in Bama Headquartes of Bama local government Borno state northeast Nigeria in the early hours of Sunday during the dawn prayers.

The incident occurred around 5:15 am in Shehuri/Mairi area of the town.

The suicide bombers a boy and a girl detonated their IEDs trapped to their bodies in middle of prayers.

This is the first casualty recorded since IDPs returned to Bama about a month ago.

No casualty figure has been released so far and security operatives are yet to comment.
