One hundred Nigerian pilgrims absconded during the 2017 Christian pilgrimage to Israel. The executive secretary of Christian pilgrim reverend Tor Uja who disclosed this while receiving the security report of the 2017 pilgrimage said no pilgrim absconded in Rome and Greece.
The one hundred pilgrims that absconded he said are from five states explaining that they include serving soldiers, a police inspector and a lecturer among others.
Reverend Tor Uja however did not disclosed the states which he tagged as red flag but stated that efforts are been put in place to check the situation.
